The place was great! I have absolutely zero complaints, it was really nice to be able to use the hot tub and sauna during a snow storm! Thomas was very responsive and helpful. They were even willing to give us a later checkout time due to the weather. All in all 5/5 experience.

This place was exactly as listed and had everything I needed. Every aspect of my stay was easy, all instructions were clearly explained and there are printed details for everything in the unit. The location is perfect, close enough to restaurants and things to do, but also far enough from the main streets that its not loud. The parking permits were a huge bonus and it was pretty easy to find a spot, even on the weekend. I'm saving this listing and will definitely look to stay here again next time I come to Chicago.

Our stay here in early October was wonderful! Such a cute cottage, decorated beautifully with so many amenities. The fresh ground coffee in the morning was so delicious! Huge fire pit with plenty of wood available. There was beach chairs and toys to utilize at the beach. Corn hole set to enjoy outside in the big yard. It's so close to the cutest downtown area with shops, wineries and delicious food options. The wood burning hot tub was such a neat experience. It was a couple minutes from Rocky Gap and couple more to Silver Beach. Would give this place an 11 out of 10 and will definitely be back for warmer weather. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating as well.

We really enjoyed the ease of Thomas & Cynthia’s Airbnb— it felt like a home away from home! The gated parking space for the rental was perfect for our trip (we had a car). They were communicative hosts, and upon entering the studio, we were impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the rental. I personally favorited this listing for the deep bathtub, which I used several times throughout our stay! It was such a nice way to unwind on our little getaway. I would like to personally note that their was a rainbow mat in the entryway that reads “all are welcome here”, so for all LGBTQIA+ guests, allies, and folks who support marginalized communities, this is a safe space listing! I will be rebooking this listing in the future, and recommending it to all of my flight attendant friends who are planning on spending time in Chicago!

Really nice house in a nice peaceful neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and more within walking distance. Standing passengers coffee was amazing in the morning. The tub was amazing and the house was very comfortable. Neighborhood felt very safe and had street parking for the house.

This was an extremely comfortable place to stay. It was clean with well thought out attention to detail. It is a wonderful older home that has been well cared for. The kitchen has been remodeled and updated with new appliances, cabinets and everything you would ever need. It has a wash machine and dryer and the wonderful parking space! It is walkable to restaurants and grocery stores. Best of all were the hosts. Mary Beth and Thomas were quick to respond to all my questions. They have super host status for a reason. Definitely 5 stars.

Thomas and Cynthia's place is a gem! Very quiet, spacious, and super clean! The Murphy bed is a great option. We found it close to everything and a nice alternative to expensive hotels. We would highly recommend it, and would stay there again! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful spacious place, peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen area was also awesome. The bar (Chipp Inn) being a block away was great for a group of guys on a vacation. Everything was nearly perfect. However, as an engineer, the bathroom sink drove me crazy! The faucet doesn't extend long enough and barely goes past the rear edge of the sink! Extremely minor, but that's my only gripe... the criticism is all in good fun though!

Such a great Airbnb experience. Quiet neighborhood with good parking, right by all Milwaukee Ave has to offer. the bathroom really is spa like! I loved my stay here and would absolutely come back again next time I’m in Chicago!
